Norfolk – Vivian Marie Lewis Phelps, 95, passed away October 2, 2010. The last of eleven children, she was born in Somerset, KY on April 22, 1915 to the late Edward and Evaline Lewis. Mrs. Phelps graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton, OH, and later went on to retire from General Motors Corp. She was most loved by her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Phelps is also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil K. Phelps.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Sue Fillers and husband William L. of Greenville, OH; a son, Kenneth A. Phelps and wife Pia of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
