William “Bill” Alton Shaddeau, 78, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 21, 2013. Born in Norfolk to the late Wesley and Thelma Tatum Shaddeau, he is also predeceased by his son, Billy Shaddeau and his siblings, Richard, Dolly and Faye. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean Ann Shaddeau; daughter, Tracy and husband Sammie of Virginia Beach; brothers, Wesley Jr. and Cecil; sister, Sugar Saddeau.
Bill retired from the civil service as a Machinist in 1994. After retiring he started working with Coastal Investments for another 12 years. In his spare time he loved spending time with family and fishing with his friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at Parkway Christian Church at 11am, Thursday, October 24, 2013. The burial will be conducted privately at a later date.
