Hazel (Davy) Blackmar, 89, passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late John Roger Blackmar. They were married on September 29, 1956 and shared over 64 wonderful years together until Rogers passing.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the fourth of seven daughters of the late Herman R. and Alice (Smith) Davy.
Hazel was the loving mother of son John R. Blackmar and his wife Ann, daughter Karen-Blackmar-Lavoie, and son Jeffrey Blackmar; a cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of one. She was the sister of the late Agnes, Alice, Bertha, Edna, Noreen and Eileen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, June 28th at 10:30 a.m. in Highland Memorial Park Chapel, 1 Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston.
