She was born January 9, 1922 in Cambria, a small welsh community in Central Wisconsin, the only child of Edward T. and Mary Elizabeth (Jones) Williams.
She is survived by her son, Edward (Marcia) Culver; her daughter Maribeth (Andy) Culver-Lammas; daughters-in-law Joanie Culver (Elwyn) and Joylyn Culver (Doug) along with nine grandchildren: Brandon, Aubrey, Justin, Christopher, Hickory, Nathan, Lynley, Duncan and Gwyndd; and thirteen great-grandchildren, who all knew her as “Nain”, welsh for grandmother.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2003, sons Douglas in 2007 and Elwyn in 2013.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Wayland Chapel, 312 North Main St. Wayland, Michigan. Family will meet with friends and relatives at 10am Monday preceding services.
