Emily Susan Renae Comer, age 27, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melinda Smith. She is survived by her father, Robert (Kimberly) Comer; children Aderyan Vandermore, Alby Vandermore, and Charlie Wooten; siblings Kara Fluhart (Modesto Pequeno), Kyle Comer (Britney Curtiss), Lucas Comer (Julia Torres), and Sara Comer; grandmother, Mary Pigeon; grandfather, Robert Comer Sr.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Emily was a free spirit who raised her children to be free and expressive as well. She loved life and her family was most important. Emily was proud of her Indian culture and wanted her kids to be aware of all that goes with that. She was a picture taker and also loved music. She will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Luella Collins Community Center, 419 126th Ave., Shelbyville, Michigan 49344. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service, at Luella Collins Community Center.
