Eric was preceded in death by his father Richard Vales.
He will be lovingly missed by Renee, his wife of 20 years; sons Ethan, Logan and Grady Vales; mother Mala Vales; sister Carey (Chris) Soda; step-mother Joann Vales, and many nieces, nephews, step-siblings, and friends.
Eric was a loving husband, father, son, and brother who taught students the love of art at Kentwood Public Schools for 18 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kentwood Public Schools Administration Building - Collaboration Center on Saturday, August 3rd from 1:00 - 4:00 pm (5820 Eastern Ave. SE, Kentwood, MI).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Eric to assist the family with a college fund. Contributions accepted at any Lake Michigan Credit Union in the names of Ethan, Logan and Grady Vales.
