He was preceded in death by his father, Anton; mother, Anna; sister, Patricia; brothers Edward, Roman, William, Tony, and John.
He will be lovingly missed by his children Mary Schaner, Karen (Jeff) Barnes, and Patrick Ladwa;
grandchildren Jason (Heather) Barnes, Megan (Jason) Montalto, Bridget (Cory) O'Hanlon, and Megan (Rachel) Ladwa; great-grandchildren Alexis, Arthur, and Madison.
At 21, Frank earned POW status and a Purple Heart serving our great country in the US Army (1950-1953) as Combat Infantry / Korean War and finished out his term in Washington DC as honorary guard at Arlington Cemetery.
Frank started his work life early with such companies as Pet Milk, GM, and many other ventures; he also started his own roofing company and leveled off his career as an accomplished millwright at Fisher Body, Kalamazoo.
A private Funeral Mass and burial were held at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church - where Frank was a lifelong member.
