Herman Jay Potter

Herman Jay Potter, age 75 went to be with his Lord, Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Susie Potter; brother Arthur (Savannah) Potter; sisters Henrietta Zerfas, Betty Brondyke, Gertrude Kroll; brother-in-laws Robert DeJong, Donald (Julia) Westendorp. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Florence Potter; children Roger (Melody Sessions) Potter, Dan (Amy) Potter; grandchildren Jenna Potter, Trevor Potter, Tyler Potter and Alex Potter; sisters Christine (Marv) Vander Bee, Wilma Dingess, brother-in-laws Robert Kroll, Jack Brondyke, sister-in-law Mary DeJong; many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held from 2 - 4PM and 7 - 9PM, Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home at 4330 18th Street, Dorr. MI. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Thursday April 23, 2015 with visitation one hour prior at Moline Christian Reformed Church - 4341 Chappell Ave, Moline, MI. Pastors John Ouwinga and James DeZeeuw will be officiating. Interment will be at Dorr Cemetery. In honor of Herman, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or Moline Christian School.
