John T. Sloan

John T. Sloan, age 56 of Grand Rapids, passed away May 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Maxine Sloan and his sister Susan Heller. John will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters: Todd (Judy) Sloan, Don Sloan, Sunny Strouse, Linda Niezurawski, Robert D. Sloan, Steven Sloan, and Richard Sloan; many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was a graduate of Caledonia High School. He was owner and operator of Consumer Spa and Pool. John loved the outdoors and enjoyed time in the sunshine. He loved time spent with his family and friends and was often the one to plan the gatherings. John was a gentle and generous man to his circle of family and friends. Friends may gather with his family on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 312 N. Main Street, Wayland from 1:00-2:00 PM, where a time of sharing will be held at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of John to the American Cancer Society.
