Larry Jay Smith

Larry Jay Smith, age 57, passed away, Friday, December 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Rose Smith; his brothers, Alan and Roger Smith; and his nieces, Kristina and Karen Smith. Larry is survived by his siblings, Patricia Smith, LeRoy (Yvonne) Smith, Vicki (Jack) Erb; his nieces and nephews, Marie Smith (Andy), Kathleen (Andy) Kles, Rachel (Jeremy) Weber, Karolyn (Lonnie) Beggs, Jeremy (Andrea) Erb; his great-nieces and great-nephews. Larry loved dogs, he had a Chocolate Lab, Lady, and he also collected dog figurines. He enjoyed being involved in what everyone around him was doing. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Larry's family will be held from 1 to 4 PM Wednesday, December 31, at Kubiak Cook Funeral Services in Wayland, 312 N. Main St. In honor of Larry, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Paws with a Cause.
