Marta Maria Langlois

Marta M. Langlois, age 81, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher and friend was called home to her heavenly Father on Friday, March 10, 2017. She was born May 20, 1935 in Muskegon, Michigan the daughter of John and Maria (Picchinni) Paparella. Marta was recognized in gratitude for her over 41 years of dedicated teaching service at St. Mary’s Visitation and at St. Stanislaus Schools and her tireless support of the unborn.

She is survived by her children Mary (Eric) Villerius, Jeanine Marie Langlois, John (Kimberly) Langlois, Karen (Bob) Middendorp, Steven (Kelly) Langlois, fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.

Marta was preceded in death by her husband Paul David Langlois and her son Paul David Langlois Jr.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Thursday, March 16, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church – 1871 136th Avenue, Dorr, Michigan. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Marta’s family will meet with friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm with a rosary being held at 5:30pm Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Dorr Chapel – 4330 18th Avenue, Dorr, Michigan and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
