Victor Allen Dennis

Victor Allen Dennis, age 66 of Wayland, passed away October 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his first wife Gloria Jean Dennis, his parents Charles and Thelma Dennis, and his sister Bonita Herring. Victor will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pameler; his children: Victor (Kathryn) Dennis, Charles Dennis, and Ann (Jeff) Junge; step-sons: Raymond "Chip" (Becky) Morehouse, Daniel (Sarah) Morehouse, David (Robin) Morehouse, Joseph (Dana) Morehouse, Joshua (Cassie) Morehouse, and Nathaniel Morehouse; 19 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Louis (Lori) Dennis and Faith (Phil) Muse; his uncle Paul (Phyllis) Irvine; and many nieces and nephews. Victor was a graduate of Reed City High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Victor worked at Knapp and Volt and Bay Valley Foods. On August 2, 2003, Victor married Pameler Metcalf, and they were members of the First Baptist Church of Wayland and previous the First Baptist Church of Middleville. Friends may visit with Victor's family Monday, October 13, 2014, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 312 N. Main, Wayland. Funeral services for Victor will be Tuesday October 14, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wayland, with Pastor Tim Mattison officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Middleville. Donations in memory of Victor may be made to God's Helping Hands.
