Mr. Albert Lee Petters, 68, passed away Sunday surrounded by his daughters. He is remembered with love by his brother Roy Petters, daughters Theresa Petters, Candy Rasmussen and husband James, Leanne Petters and fiancé Jake Buffaloe, and Marianne Petters-Maples, four grandchildren Paul Arrazola, Dillon Rasmussen, Klorissa Arrazola & Cheyenne Maples, and one great-grandchild Noah Arrazola.
His greatest joy in life was being a Papa and loving father. A lifelong San Leon resident, Albert was a skilled shrimper of the Galveston Bay area and in his younger years he fished the rougher waters further offshore. His first boat, the Miss Flo was docked at Corona’s Fish House. His last boat, the Lady Frances named in memory of his mother would have been found docked at Hillman’s Seafood & Fish House. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy & Evelyn Frances Petters, brother Edward “Speedy” Petters and sisters Joann Parker & Marie Erwin.
A funeral service will be held at San Leon Community Church on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.
