

Alma Nepha Stephens, born March 11,1921 in Louisiana,Pike,Missouri and long-time resident of Pasadena,Texas daughter of Andrew Jackson Roan and Eva Fannie Doman, passed away Monday,November 19,2012 at her home in Pasadena, Texas after suffering from a stroke following a hip operation. She is survived by three children, Kathrine Ann Driscoll and husband Stephen Driscoll of Pasadena,Texas, Lawrence Edwin Stephens and wife Beverly Ann Stephens of , Atlanta ,Texas and William W. Stephens and wife Cathy Lynn Pearson of Krum, Texas. She is preceded in passing by her husband William Edwin "Bill" Stephens , a Shell Chemical Deer Park Retiree, daughter Patricia Sue Register and two grandsons, Randall Wayne Register and Lawrence Edwin "Sparky" Stephens.

Alma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in numerous callings in ,the Primary,The Young Womens Program,the Relief Society and the Family History Library.
She was very active in genealogy and spent many hours in genealogical research,searching for her and her husbands ancestors. She has been instrumental for thousands of her and her husbands deceased ancestors recieving saving ordinances and sealed to their families vicariously for time and all eternity in various Latter-Day Saint Temples, depending upon if they accept the work done for them.
She will be missed by those left behind but it is now a joyous reunion for her as she embraces her husband Bill,her daughter Patty,grandsons Sparky and Randy and mother and father, Andrew and Fannie in the spirit world as they await final judgement and a glorious resurrection through the atonement of Jesus Christ.
