October 11, 1924 – October 6, 2012
Anneliese (Lindner) Janoe, age 87, passed away the morning of October 6, 2012. She is survived by her children Jack Janoe and wife Tina of League City and Rita Janoe-Ellinger and husband Steven of League City; grandchildren Lerin (Janoe-Correa) Odom, Lindsay (Janoe) Blankenship, Whitney Janoe, and Sean Janoe; and great-grandchildren Colin Janoe and Easton Blankenship; as well as many beloved family members and friends.
Anneliese “Lisa” was a devoted and caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She donated to numerous charitable and religious organizations, and she would often reminisce about singing in the choir at church when she was younger.
Lisa had an unforgettable personality and a witty sense of humor. She was best known for her curt but sincere way of “calling it how she saw it,” her famous potato salad, and spending hours shopping the television networks for that perfect gift. She wanted the best for everyone, and she cherished every moment she spent with family. Nothing made her happier than seeing the whole family together.
It was through her persistent loving encouragement that her children learned to succeed and reach their maximum potential. For this they will always be grateful. She was dearly loved by family and friends and she will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on October 11, 2012 at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
