On May 21, 1936, Lee Audrey (Brewer) Bundy became the fifth child of Frenie and Clidie Brewer. Born in Jones County MS. She graduated from Lyman High School, Lyman MS and attended Pentecostal Bible Institute, Tupelo MS. In 1955 she met the love of her life, an airman (Thomas Earl Bundy) stationed at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, MS. On June 30, 1956, they were wed. After her husband’s graduation from Pentecostal Bible Institute, she and her husband became active in the ministry of the Gospel. After evangelizing for a while, they pastored churches in Burnsville, MS, Marianna, AR, Alvin, TX and in 1968 went Christmas for Christ to Salisbury, NC. After coming back to Houston, she went to work for Amoco Oil so that her girls could attend a church school rather than public school. In the late 1990’s she retired, they moved to the country, and attended Calvary Tabernacle in Trinity, TX. She traveled with her husband in his work. She loved to travel and would get excited when her husband would get a new job assignment. They were going somewhere new and meet new people in a new church. She loved to entertain. Even after her husband retired from the ministry, when a new family would start coming to church, she wanted them to know they had a friend. She would invite them to her home for dinner. In 2015 as she and her husband’s health began to decline, they moved to Friendswood, TX.
She is preceded in death by her father Frenie Lee Brewer, Mother Clidie Dale Brewer, Brother James Brewer and wife Jewel, sisters Catherine Sanford, Thelma Walley and husband Bill, Bertie Ladner, and husband Levoy, Annie Milholand and husband David.
