Aurora Souders

She was married to Richard Dean Souders for 51 years. Aurora worked as a homemaker and then owned her own business providing cleaning services to new homebuilders. She worked for David Weekly, Perry Homes, Emerald Home, Gary Greene, and others for 10 years before she retired.

She was a member of Houston Rose Society for several years along with her husband. Aurora had a passion for cooking, sewing, and growing roses. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Dean Souders, mother Maria Luz Juarez Ortega, and father Norberto Patino.

Aurora is survived by her son Miguel Ortega and his wife Rosia, daughter Marie Souders, daughter Joann Meguess and husband Scott, daughter Frances Hamilton and husband Scott, son Harry Souders and wife Sherry, and daughter Elizabeth Joiner and husband Stephen. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 7 at 5:30PM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas. Afterwards, there will be a reception in the Reflections Room.
