

Billy Don Taylor, a resident of Arlington, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 12, 1945, in Whitewright, Texas, Billy was known for his hard work, faithfulness, strong will, and unforgettable sense of humor.
Billy worked for Coca-Cola for more than 20 years, where his determination and work ethic were well respected. A devoted Baptist, he had a deep love for country music, dancing, and taking peaceful Sunday drives. He enjoyed fishing, sharing a good laugh, and brightening any room with his big smile. Billy was proud of his 28 years of sobriety and was deeply committed to helping friends on their own sobriety journeys. He was devoted to those he supported, offering guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear whenever they needed him. He adored his daughters and was deeply devoted to them, and he held great pride in the man his son became. He carried a special fondness for his mother, whose passing when he was young left a lasting impact on him.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mattie Taylor, and his brothers, James Taylor and Jimmy “Jr” Taylor.
He is survived by his sister, Gladys Jones; his daughters, Elizabeth Taylor and Valerie Zaksek, and husband Chris; his son, Jerry Taylor, and wife Julie; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Zachary, Blake, Caleb, and Chloe.
Billy’s legacy of determination, laughter, music, devotion, and love will be cherished by all who were blessed to know him.
