Bob was born in Magnolia, Arkansas on November 21, 1933 to Gaston and Erma (Daniels) Walthall. Bob was the oldest and last surviving of five children: Cindy, Diana, Jackie & Ronnie. He was married to Wilma (Smith) Walthall (deceased), of McFarland, CA on December 22,1952. They were married for 70 years. Bob & Wilma raised four sons, David, Michael (deceased), Jonathan and Phillip.
Bob received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Houston in Mechanical Engineering. He had a successful career in industrial construction, co-founding Ventech Engineers and later becoming the sole owner of BL Walthall Inc.
In his earlier years, Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was private in nature, spending his time on job-related ventures and home improvement projects.
Bob is survived by sons: David and wife Carla, Jonathan and wife Cindy, and Phillip and wife Ruth, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
