Brandi Renee Hennessey, 41, passed away September 24, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She fought a courageous yearlong battle with kidney cancer. She was born November 3, 1972 in Houston, TX. Brandi was a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School where she was an honor student and Colonel of the drill team. She received a scholarship to San Jacinto College where she was the Captain of the San Jans. She later attended Oklahoma City University where she received a Bachelor of Performing Arts in 1996. Brandi went on to pursue her dream as a professional dancer in Branson, MO. She performed with Andy Williams, Mel Tillis, Shoji Tabuchi and many others. She later returned to Houston to pursue a career in Real Estate. Brandi is survived by her parents Wessley and Janice Hennessey-Wong; sister Dana and husband Anthony Hernandez; aunt Cynthia and husband Jimmy Raley; cousin Lisa and husband Ken Freeman; aunt Wanda and husband Carl Reyna; aunt Wilma Hand; and a host of loving cousins. Brandi was such a sweet and beautiful girl with an infectious smile and a heart of gold. The family is grateful to the amazing doctors and nurses at MD Anderson who granted us the extra time we had with Brandi.
