So sorry for the family and also to lose a good friend and co-worker from the past. Brian and I worked together for Dashiell at Amoco Texas City in the late eighties and enjoyed the time together. We spent time together outside of work with our young families. Through the years we kept in touch and had occasionally dinner together with another work colleague Oscar Alvarado. The three of us had dinner together to catch up just weeks before his passing and so hard to hear of his death. I will miss the friendship and planned outings in our retirements. I know he was a great father and husband. Again condolences from Susan and myself.

I worked with Brian back in the 90s.
We worked on a job at Union Carbide in Seadrift, Texas for about a year.  It was there that I became more educated on college football and the various conferences. Brian loved the Cornhuskers. He also loved the Lord Jesus.  He educated me more on him too. I kept in touch with Brian over the years. I remember meeting him in College Station when Nebraska played the Aggies. We watched the game tailgating on the top level of a parking garage. I recently texted Brian that I had visited New York City. He said he had been there twice and that was enough times for him. He asked what I was doing there and I told him I was thinking about moving there. That got a rise out of him. I never got to tell him I was just kidding but I think he knew. One of his last texts to me was a picture taken at the Weird Al Yankovic concert he attended. Brian was a good friend who will be truly missed. I would like to offer my condolences to all of his family.

Brian was both a friend and a coworker, and I will always remember him as a very smart, kind, and funny man. His laugh was truly infectious, and he loved sharing his silly dad jokes that brought smiles to everyone around him. I still smile when I think about the time I sent him his very first text message—he had no idea that phones could even do that, and we laughed about it together. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his passing, especially since we had just been texting not long ago. He will be greatly missed, and I know he was loved by all who knew him. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.

I worked with Brian for several years at Dashiell. He was very thoughtful and helpful in any situation you he was in.  Brian we’ll be missed by all.

Dear Brian Sass family  - I am so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing.  Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the funeral services as I live in Doha Qatar.  Brian and I worked together in the late 1990s at the Shell Deer Park plant.  Brian  was extremely competent and had a dry humor that always got a laugh.  We spent countless hours on a certain compressor deck troubleshooting motor issues.  He was well respected in our Electrical community!  Fly high Brian - hope to cross  paths again in the afterlife!
