

Carolyn McCall (80) of Pearland, Texas, passed away peacefully in the presence of family due to complications of a stroke. Carolyn was born in Shiner, Texas, to Harold V. and Anita E. (Wiseman) Fitzgerald.
She attended Brazosport High School, where she met Bill McCall, the love of her life and future husband. She received an education degree from Sam Houston University. Carolyn taught business subjects and typing. When her husband was drafted, she followed him to Savannah, GA, and taught in the schools there for a year. After returning to Houston, she taught high school typing, keyboarding, and business for over 30 years, mainly for Pasadena ISD.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping and decorating. She used her styling sense to make a beautiful home for her family. Carolyn was a loving wife and mother. She loved all of her family, extended family and dear friends and always enjoyed being in their company.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Anita Fitzgerald, and her sister-in-law, Shirley Fitzgerald of Brazoria.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George W. (Bill) McCall of Pearland, son Jeffrey McCall of Alvin, brother, Ray Fitzgerald of Brazoria, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10 am, followed by a committal service at 11:00 am at Forest Park East Cemetery. A reception will also take place on the same day from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
