Carrie Lee Kyles, 95, of Texas City, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016. She was born in Egypt, Texas on December 29, 1920 to Tommy Gordon and Emma Jewel Gordon. She was married to William Kyles.
Carrie was a member of the Bell Zion Baptist Church, Pilgrims and Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, William Kyles; daughter, Narvell Phifer; parents Tommy and Emma Jewel Gordon.
She is survived by her, son, Tommy Kyles; grandchildren, Darrlle Johnson and Reva Phifer; great grandchildren, Christopher Kyles, Tameisha Kyles, Ka’lea Kyles, Kyle Conner and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:30pm in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment at Forest Park East Cemetery.
