Charles "Chuck" Vallery

Charles W. Vallery, 82, of Houston, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. He was born in Pollock, Louisiana on August 27, 1934 to Matt and Pinkie Vallery. He was married to Evelyn for 61 years.

Charles had a career in Aerospace for Ford Aerospace / Loral. He liked to travel, play poker and was an avid reader but his true passion was the love he had for his family.

He was preceded in death by parents, Matt and Pinkie Vallery; siblings, A.J. and Virginia Vallery, Ray and Little Bit Vallery, Gloria and Bob Wetzel; son-in-law, Layne McGee.

He is survived by, wife Evelyn; daughters and sons in law, Terri Leavitt and Rich Cork, Patti and Rick Temple, Jennifer and Mike Olmedo; grandchildren, Cal and Marissa Leavitt, Jessica and Jonathan Tigner, Erin and Justin Mills, Elissa Temple, Lindy McGee, Zayne McGee, and Olivia Olmedo; great grandchildren, Jett, Charli, Evie, Zoe, Addison, and Riley; special niece and family, Becky, Terry, Colin, and Cole Kirkpatrick.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 27, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Services to be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow.
