Clayton C. Thomas, 92 of Rosharon, Texas, passed away on September 27, 2023. He was born in Marlin, Texas on February 11, 1931 to Clayton Thomas and Ella Mae Coapus. Clayton was married to the love of his life, Sarah K. Thomas for 64 years. He worked for Brown and Root as a welder and was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy for 9 years. Clayton was a supporter of Donald Trump and had a passion for watching old westerns movies.
Clayton is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah K. Thomas; his son, Clayton (Butchie) Thomas and his grandson, Jeffrey Alesna.
He is survived by his children, Shirley Davis, Sarah Thomas, Jasper Thomas, Carline Lanham and Clevern Thomas; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy. Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Forest Park East Funeral Home with Burial to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy. Webster, Texas 77598.
Serving as pallbearers are Joel Alesna, Jacob Alesna, Johnathan Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Glen Thomas, Kenneth Jason Lanham, Jeremy Lanham and Matthew Davis.
