

Clyde Jefferson Brown, 86, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 at his home in Friendswood, TX. He was born on November 5, 1926 in Austin, TX to Claude and Leola Brummett Brown. He worked for Brown Shipbuilding from 1942 to 1944 before entering the U.S. Navy. On Feb 13, 1947, he married Margery Ann Salsgiver and together they adopted two children, Kim and Kelly. Clyde worked at Hunt Tool Co. as a machinist for many years. In 1974 he began K & K Machine Shop in South Houston, now operated by his son, Kelly. Clyde was still an active, everyday presence at K & K and loved by all there. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Margery, his parents, and two sisters, Maude Lee Pannell and Margie Vest. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Boswell (Barry) and son, Kelly Brown (Connie), all of Friendswood TX; seven grandchildren, Ryan Flood (Laura), Kyle Flood, Hayley Boswell, Kevin Boswell (Piper), Cody Brown, Cullen Brown and Katelyn Brown; six great-grandchildren Kallie, Jonas, Rory, Micah, Evangeline and Audrey, and his dear friend, Kathleen Henry.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, from 6 – 8 pm, with funeral services on Saturday, November 2, at 3 pm, at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster TX.
