

Craig was born August 26, 1969, in Houston, Texas to William and Mary Karp. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend who will be missed dearly.
After high school he attended Flight School at San Jacinto College where he received his Private Pilot License. He then continued his education at the University of Houston where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Technology IS with a minor in Training and Development. After graduation he went to work for Southwest Airlines and then into the information technology field in the oil and gas industry. The past year and a half he lived and worked in North Carolina and Virginia but was ready to return home to Texas. In March 2016 he returned to work for Southwest Airlines as a Technology Senior Analyst ITSM Service Catalog. He had a passion for learning and was recently accepted into the master of business administration program at Louisiana State University.
Craig enjoyed spending time with his beautiful daughters, paddle boarding, grilling, mexican food and watching University of Houston football - Go COOGS! His most recent pleasure was traveling. Over the years he visited Thailand, Japan, Dubai, Prague and Honduras. As much as he loved to travel his heart was always deep in the heart of Texas. He loved making new friends and had a witty sense of humor that could make anyone laugh, in addition to his contagious giggle.
He is survived by his daughters, Emma and Tessa Karp; parents, William and Mary Karp; sister, Kimberly Karp, uncle and aunt; Jerry and Sharon Craig; cousins; Lisa Diehl, Lara Nichols and Leslie Waibel and their spouses; and numerous loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother, Clay Karp. Rest easy angels.
Craig's Celebration of Life will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. A Reception will follow at interment from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Hospitality Room of Forest Park East Funeral Home.
