Dale Joseph Mallar, to the sorrow of his family and loved ones, passed away on October 16, 2013 at the age of 48. Joseph was born on October 15, 1965 in the small town of Calais, Maine, to his loving parents Dale and Yvette Mallar. He attended the two-room Alexander School through eighth grade. After completing high school, Joseph was transplanted to Houston in 1985 with the intent to make it to California to surf. After meeting his future wife, he set his roots in Houston. Joseph is well known as a very talented electrician, with a tremendous work ethic, who took great pride in his work.
Joseph is survived by his parents, Yvette and Dale, his brother’s family; Shane, Seneca, Sophie, and Natalie, his sister’s family; Joanne, Monte, and Andrea; his children, Nic and Wynter, their mother, Reneé, his son-in-law, Trevor, and is well loved by so many cousins, nieces, and nephews. His family and friends all miss him very much and will always remember him. We, as a family, know he will always be in the depths of Jehovah’s Memory.
“Joe,” as his loved ones called him, enjoyed being amongst Jehovah’s creations, camping, and hiking at any opportunity. He had an exceptional love for everyone and helped others as best he could, imitating Jehovah and his son, Jesus Christ. Jehovah, and all who knew Joe, love him, miss him, and have the greatest hope to see him in the new system.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The family would like to extend their greatest thanks to friends, congregation members, and all those at Tool-Flo for their support, kindness, and generosity.
