Dalton Edward Pennington passed away June 6, 2012. He was born December 15, 1921 in Pineland, Texas to Jesse T. Pennington and Vergie Pennington. Dalton enlisted in the United States Army in November 29, 1939. When he was honorably discharge in September 26, 1945, he left the Army as a 1st Sergeant. Dalton retired after 39 years as property administrator for the Veterans Administration. He was also a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 70 years, Helen A. Pennington, daughters, Marjorie Parham and husband Charles and Terry Murphy and husband Tex, grandchildren, Charles Parham, Terry Bell and Annette Murphy, great grandchildren, Shelby Parham, Austin Parham, Carlee Bell and Jerett Bell.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Daniel Edward Murphy, parents, brothers and his sisters.
