David Russell Dorsey, Jr., 48, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 28, 2012, in the company of his loyal dog Cocoa. David was born on January 16, 1964 in San Jose, CA and was raised in Elkton, MD. For the past 22 years he resided in Houston, TX. He was a locomotive mechanic for the Union Pacific Railroad and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Passionate about his Harley Davidson motorcycle, he loved to travel and most of all spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carole Ann Dorsey and baby brother, Kenneth Wayne Dorsey. David is survived by his loving wife, Lori Jackson Dorsey of Houston, TX; daughters, Raven Dorsey of Dickinson, TX; Angela DeRousse and husband Shane of League City, TX; Sarah Skov and husband Russell of Houston, TX and son Jacob Dorsey of Houston, TX. Grandchildren, Olivia Raelyn, Kash Robert, and Kye Raymond DeRousse of League City, TX and Liam Russell Skov of Houston, TX. Siblings, Michelle Lynn Dorsey of Elkton, MD; Karen Rene Brackin and husband Dale of Baytown, TX.
