She was born in Manhattan, New York on February 4, 1955 to George Johnston and Doris White. She was married to Adrian Pampell for 46 years. Deborah had a career in Elementary Education as a Paraprofessional for Moore Elementary.
She had a passion for teaching, spending time with her kids and grandkids, and tv shows like westerns, mysteries, HGTV and animal shows. Our mother loved teaching the kids at Moore Elementary. Each child was special and it meant so much to her to see their progress over the years. When she was not working, she loved spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids. Her favorite things were having everyone over to cook good food, play games, have fun and she would take a few pictures along the way. She loved the holidays and enjoyed working together to decorate, try new holiday favorites and make everything special for her family. Our parents always worked together to make their life full of happiness and love for their three children. She also loved spending time with her friends while playing bunko, Yahtzee or having lunch. She loved spending time in nature with a nice breeze on the beach. She also loved traveling around Texas and visited San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Fort Worth, Austin and Dallas. Finally, she loved dogs and enjoyed playing with her Benny. She spread love wherever she went and always enjoyed a good laugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Johnston and Doris Soland.
She is survived by her husband, Adrian, her children and their spouses, Crissy (Eric), Kathy, and Bryan (Jessica) and grandchildren, Rachel and Jacob.
A Memorial Celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 30 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Texas 77598.
