Domingo or as we all know him as Jr. or J-Bird! worked for the city of Friendswood as a meter technician for 32 years. He had a passion for fishing, spending time with family and friends and most of all with his crazy grandchildren.
Our Dad enjoyed buying his scratch offs, his pick 3 and playing his air drums to his favorite songs or any song he heard with a strong drumline. He was such a comedian he would recite lines from his favorite comedian, the famous George Lopez. Esprite! He loved to spend nice sunny days in front of the pit with his Tejano music and a blue can in one hand!
He is proceeded in death by his father Domingo Rubio Sr. and his brother Juan Rubio.
He is survived by his mother Eufemia Vega Rubio, sister Josie Marinez, Daughters Anna Rubio, Rebecca Dumont, and her husband Alex Dumont, Nephew Damien Bentacourt, grandchildren Amya Medina, Samuel Esparza Jr., Waylon Dumont, and numerous family and friends.
