She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 8, 1940 to Lebus F. and Emily Faye Whiddon. She was married to Bob Skeen for 10 years.
Donnie worked in the accounting/book keeping industry for numerous companies ending her career with Safety Shoe Distributors of Houston.
She enjoyed arts/crafts, crocheting, fishing and loved to dance.
Donnie was preceded in death by both parents, a sister Denise, and two brothers David and Daniel.
She is survived by her husband Bob Skeen, three brothers Roy, Frank and Steve Whiddon, and a sister Bekki Campise. She is also survived by 5 children James Willard Jackson of Round Rock, TX, Tommy Jackson of New Braunfels, Richard Meyers of Dayton, Cindy Meyers Gentry of Fairfield and Frank Meyers of Pasadena, as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018.
