Doris June Keele was born on June 12, 1933 in Tokio, Texas to John Douglas Sinclair Cate and Bessie Alma Hyten. She went to be with her Lord at the age of 81, on February 3, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Burle Ennis Keele, married on September 9, 1950 in San Angelo, Texas. Also survived by her daughters Judy Brown and husband David, Joy Nichols and husband Rylan; sons Richard Keele and wife Carolyn, Terry Keele and wife Jerilyn, Kirby Keele and wife Linda. 10 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 2 great grandsons and 2 great granddaughters. Doris was preceeded in death by her parents and daughter Leeta Keele. Doris was living at the Wildwood Care Center in Oklahoma at the time of her passing but has also lived in Arizona, New Mexico and several cities in Texas. Doris was a loved member of the Church of Christ family.
Pallbearers for her funeral service are: Wm Josh Keele, Leland Brown, Cameron Nichols, Jonathan Keele, Uriah Nichols and Adam Keele.
