

Eduardo was born on February 20, 1936, in Bogotá, Colombia, to the late Pablo Enrique Carrillo and Alicia Cifuentes. He was preceded in death by his brothers Leopoldo, Jorge, and Germán.
Eduardo, known for his charisma and humor, was a beloved husband to Martha and father to Norma Carrillo Dean. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his sister Alicia del Socorro, niece Ednita, nephews Jorge, Pablo, Leopoldo Jr, and Louis, as well as his closest cousin Frank Garcia and other cousins residing abroad. Eduardo also leaves behind many friends who held him dear to their hearts.
A proud veteran, Eduardo served in the US Army from May 14, 1959, to April 18, 1961.
Throughout his life, Eduardo worked for Shell and Good Year. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and reading, with a particular fondness for James Patterson's novels. He resided in New Orleans for twelve years and was a dedicated fan of the New Orleans Saints.
Eduardo's educational journey included attending Colegio San Bartolomé and Colegio Nueva Granada in Bogotá, Colombia, as well as pursuing two years of Civil Engineering studies at Tulane University.
A celebration of life for Eduardo will be held at a later date.
