Ernest Trevino Jr.

Ernest “Ernie” Trevino, Jr., 55, of Friendswood, Texas passed away on September 9, 2022.Ernie was born on June 25, 1967 to Ernest and Anita Trevino in El Campo, Texas. He worked as a contract roofer all of his life.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Anita and his sister, Sonya. Ernest is survived by his wife of 37 years, Yvette; sons, John Trevino and wife Monica, Patrick Byrd and Ernest Trevino III; daughter, Gabriella Trevino; grandchildren, Sonya, Elias and Eliana; brother, Santiago “Jimmy” Trevino and wife Apolonia and his sister, Angie Parra and husband Omar.

Ernest was the life of every event he attended, joking and making everyone laugh. He was loved by many family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was adored by his nieces, nephews and great-nieces. He was a great father and grandfather figure and all will miss him dearly.

His Laugh and smile were contagious and his personality was unmatched. Definitely a man who if you had the privilege to meet, you would never forget. If you knew him, you knew he was a diehard Cowboy’s fan who never missed a game.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Forest Park East Funeral Home from 5PM until 8PM with a Rosary to begin at 7PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10AM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Committal Service will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
