Frances Marie Duhon

Fran had a career in furniture sales for Sears for 25 years. She was number one in sales in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas! After retirement, she worked with her son and daughter at Boxwood Interiors. She was a long standing member of the sorority Beta Sigma Phi. Fran loved to garden, crochet, go to the theatre, and listen to music, but her absolute favorite were her grandchildren.

Fran is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Tenery Thompson and Mae Palombo Thompson.

She is survived by her sister, Jo Owen; children, Daryl Duhon McPhail, Renee Duhon Armstrong, Bret Thompson Duhon, and Michele Duhon Williams and husband Kelly Williams; grandchildren, Clinton Reagan McPhail and wife Janell, Lauren Michele Armstrong, Ryan Daniel Armstrong and wife Janna, Jenna Marie McPhail, Cameron Cole Armstrong and fiancé Annika, Katelyn Armstrong Sutton and husband Christian, Madeline Michele Wadsworth, Jake Lane Williams, Meredith Marie Williams, Preston Keith Williams, and Kelsey Rose Williams; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Renee Armstrong-Lewis, Celso Cole Barreras, Nolan Reagan McPhail, Sydney Elaine McPhail, Brooks Clinton McPhail, Leighton Daniel Armstrong, Krislyn Mae Sutton, and Tenery Madeline Armstrong.

Family visitation and service will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery in Webster, Texas on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 am. Beloved friends are welcome to leave condolences and memories for the family below.
