Frances Pauline Highfill

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Chet Highfill, her father Filmore Vaughn, her mother Mittie Vaughn, her sister Thelma Stevenson.

She is survived by her sister Mildred Kattes, children Vickie Cathey of Deer Park Tx, Carl and Debbie Highfill of Cove Tx, Michael and Teri Highfill of Pasadena Tx, grandchildren Brent and Nancy Cathey of Anderson Tx, Chris and Katrina Highfill of Deer Park, Tiffany and Lance Bittner of Needville Tx, Ryan and Ashley Highfill of Deer Park Tx, Chase and Megan Cathey of Deer Park Tx, Katie Highfill of Cove Tx, Ashley and Clayton Breeding of League City Tx, Chance Brown of Seabrook Tx, great grandchildren Paige, Kayleigh, Maddie, Addison, Emerson, Kyler, Preston, Cora Lynn, Harper, Wyatt, many nieces, and nephews, and many dear friends.

Polly's devotion to God was extremely strong, and she loved life to the fullest, from her grandchildren to her great grandchildren, her and Chet's "END of Road Ranch" in Normangee Tx, she enjoyed doing ceramics for many years with friends and family, she enjoyed shopping, and when they moved to Pearland, enjoyed a glass of wine with "The Wine Angels" ladies who lived on her block. Polly as everyone knew she started with the Leonard Brothers Company and worked there until her and Chet moved to Houston where she worked at Foleys. She worked at Foleys until Chet started the Air-Care Southeast Co, in 1973, together they built a company that is 50 years old today, Polly semi-retired in 2022 but still stayed active in the company until her death.

Polly will be remembered as a kind warm hearted person, she will always be in our hearts, and memories for those who remember.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

A visitation for Frances will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 2:00 PM followed by a graveside service at 3:30 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
