George Franklin Robinson Jr.

George was born in Little Rock Arkansas, the only child of George “Frank” Robinson, Sr., and Edith Margaret Meeks. The family moved to Houston when George was six years old.

He graduated from San Jacinto High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston in 1956 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas in 1961. He was a life member of Delta Sigma Delta Supreme Chapter. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force and served as a Dental Officer for six years. He was certified by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners in dental surgery and dentistry in 1963 and set up his practice. He enjoyed serving multiple generations of families and developed many trusted relationships with his patients. He retired from his practice in 2015.

George is survived by three first cousins, Etta Huntley, Gary Robinson, and Brooks Robinson. His family and friends mourn his loss and will miss his wit and no nonsense approach to life.
