Gerald Antone Langer

Gerald (Jerry) Antone Langer, 75 of Houston, Texas, passed away November 17, 2021. He was born in Galveston, Texas on November 11, 1946 to Anton Langer and Catheryn Dyda. He was married to Diana Langer for 43 years. Jerry graduated with a degree in accounting from University of Houston and worked most of his career as the owner of his own accounting firm as a Certified Public Accountant.

Jerry was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church as well as a lifetime member of the Pasadena Rodeo and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He had a strong faith in God, a passion for his family and friends, horses, country music, westerns and the rodeo. He was extremely generous and always there when anyone needed him. He loved to travel, especially with his family. His property in Smithville, Texas was very dear to him, it brought him so much joy when we were all there together. Jerry had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. He could not have been prouder of his wife, children and grandchildren. He was always there when his children or grandchildren needed advice and was happy to give it. He loved to collect things, watch sports, and any western show he could find. He enjoyed his career as a CPA and equally enjoyed talking to his clients and friends when they would come to his office. Jerry Langer will be greatly missed everyday by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Catheryn Dyda and Anton Langer.

He is survived by his wife Diana Langer, his daughter Traci Elliott, husband Kelly Elliott and his grandchildren Blake and Grace Elliott. His son Mark Miller, wife Jennifer Miller and his grandchildren Swan and Rogan Miller. He is also survived by his brother Rodney Langer, wife Patt Langer as well as sister in laws, brother in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Gerald will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 5515 Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77581. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.

Serving as pallbearers are Robert Ashcraft, Dean Lauppe, Brent Gamble, John Anderson, Jay Hunt and Glenn Peloquin.
