Glenn Earl Einkauf was born on January 12th, 1958 and passed away on February 4, 2026 at his home in Pearland, Texas. He is proceeded in death by his father Wilfred Eugene Einkauf and mother Mary Jo Einkauf. Glenn was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather whose life was defined by love, loyalty, hard work, and family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
Glenn was married to the love of his life, Gina Einkauf, on November 8, 1980. Their love story began years earlier when they met as eighth graders, forming a connection that would grow into a lifetime of partnership, devotion, and unwavering commitment. He loved Gina with all his heart, and that love was evident to everyone who knew them. It was a bond that endured through every season of life and remained strong and visible right up to his final days.
Together, Glenn and Gina built a beautiful family and raised three children: daughters Karrie Fain and Glenda Jones (husband Johnny Jones), and son Ethan Einkauf (wife Christi Einkauf). He was immensely proud of his children and took immense joy in watching them build lives of their own. His love for them was steady, protective, and unconditional.
Glenn was a proud and devoted grandfather to Skye McWhirter (fiancé Tristen Piefer), Darlene Fain, Thomas Einkauf, and Ava Einkauf, and a loving great-grandfather to Sadie Piefer and Charlotte Piefer. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding happiness in their laughter, their milestones, and simply being present in their lives.
For 36 years, Glenn worked as a proud 3rd generation longshoreman out of Local 24. He held many positions throughout his career, but he is most remembered for his vital role of being a paceco crane operator when he retired.
One of his greatest joys was spending time outdoors hunting on his property in Alto. These peaceful moments brought him deep contentment, especially when shared with his son and grandson, and in later years with his son-in-law, Johnny. These times were more than hobbies, they were opportunities to bond, pass down traditions, and create lasting memories.
Family meant everything to Glenn. He loved deeply, and you always knew where he stood on a topic. He was never shy to let his children know right from wrong. Respect and manners were the foundation on which he raised his kids. Glenda will miss her father profoundly, carrying his love with her every day. Ethan has lost not only a father but his closest companion and best friend. Glenn knows he’s left his family well cared for with Ethan now being the man of the family. Glenn shared a special bond with his daughter-in-law, Christi, whose warmth, and spirit could even leave him speechless—a rare feat for a man who always had something meaningful to say.
Glenn Earl Einkauf leaves behind a legacy of enduring love, hard work, loyalty, and treasured memories. His influence will live on through his family for generations to come, in the stories shared and he will want us to tell the same ones over and over again, and the love he so freely gave.
