Helen B. Fry

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert Fry, son Jerry Fry and wife Adiela of Katy, Texas; daughter Linda Fry McGinty and husband Bob of Lexington Park, Maryland; daughter Debbie Brown and husband J. of Friendswood, Texas; and eight grandchildren, David Fry, Jessica Fry, Joseph Brown, Michael Brown, Cathy Lockard, Billy McGinty, Matthew Brown and Tina Brown.

She met her husband while operating a machine at Goodyear that bonded vehicle tires for the armed forces during World War II. She devoted her entire life to taking care of and loving her family; always putting them first over herself.

Helen lived an outstanding life, leaving behind a lifetime of memories for all of her survivors. She was a devoted homemaker and even a better mother, raising her children in the best traditions of Christianity. She moved over 30 years ago from Florida to Texas to be closer to her children and to be able to see her grandchildren in all of their many activities. She was a member of Good Shepard Episcopal Church of Friendswood.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 3:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that the memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
