Herminia “Minnie” Cabello Geffert, age 58, of Bacliff, Texas, was born on October 5, 1967, and passed away on March 20, 2026. Minnie will be remembered as a compassionate, selfless, humorous, kind-hearted, cherished woman whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her. An animal lover in every sense, she lived with a tenderness that was evident in the way she treated both people and pets alike.
Minnie worked as a Pharmacy Technician, serving others with care and quiet dedication. Her work reflected the same steady compassion that defined her life—thoughtful, reliable, and always focused on helping those who needed it. She was very proud of her education at South Texas College of Law and University of St. Thomas in Texas.
On November 15, 2003, she married Dustin Geffert, and together they shared 24 years of marriage. Minnie deeply valued time spent with family and friends, and she was happiest in the simple moments of togetherness, laughter, and connection.
A devoted vegetarian because she loved animals, Minnie had a special affection for cats. She also enjoyed making memes, and her lighthearted sense of humor—so natural and genuine—was one of the many ways she made people smile. Minnie’s legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and love, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Minnie is survived by her husband, Dustin Geffert. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles as well as numerous friends and her fur babies. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Cabello, and her father, Gustavo Cabello Jr.
