Humberto (Bert) Ayala Ramirez

Humberto and Cecilia Montoya were married on July 31, 1965. They remained married for 60 years. Together they had two sons, Humberto Ramirez Jr. and Alexander Ramirez. They also had the following grandchildren: Abigail Ramirez, Peyden Ramirez, Kaitlyn Fissel and bonus grandchildren: Benjamin Hobgood, Hunter Hames and Diego Garcia.

Humberto began his career in the Industrial Turbine field in 1973, working for Power Services Inc. that was later purchased by United Technologies. Humberto worked for United Technologies 35 years before he retired in 2008. Humberto worked as an Industrial Turbine Technician. Humberto was bilingual and he traveled to different Latin American countries for United Technologies to supervise onsite jobs. Prior to his career at United Technologies, Humberto also worked in air conditioning and other professions.

Humberto was preceded in death by the following: father; Enrique Ramirez, mother; Blanca Alicia Ramirez, siblings; Enrique Ramirez, Jr. & wife Celia, Jose Homer Ramirez, Sylvia Cornel, in-laws; Robert Montoya, David Montoya Jr. & wife Carmen, Ofelia Kelly & husband Patrick, nephews Henry Ramirez, Leroy Cornel Jr. and niece Jennifer Ramirez.

Humberto leaves behind his following loved ones: wife; Cecilia Ramirez, sons; Humberto Ramirez Jr. & his companion Julie Booth, Alexander Ramirez & fiancée Romelia Porcayo, grandchildren; Abigail Ramirez, Peyden Ramirez, Kaitlyn Fissel, bonus grandchildren; Benjamin Hobgood, Hunter Hames and Diego Garcia, Humberto also leaves the following behind: siblings: Marilyn Stubblefield, Ernest Ramirez & wife Dora, Linda & husband Enrique Ruiz II, : In-Laws; Olivia Waling, Daniel Montoya, Dora & husband Danny Clutter, Betty Gobeil, Joel & Lupita Montoya, Felicia Montoya, Julie & Jerry Rios, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Humberto will forever be missed, but his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. Rest in peace, dear Bert. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A visitation for Bert will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a funeral service to start at 2:00 pm and a committal to follow. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas. Pallbearers will be Peyden Ramirez, Hunter Hames, Diego Garcia, Enrique Ruiz III, Jerry Rios, and Oscar Ramirez.
