

John Wesley Croker of League City, TX died suddenly of natural causes on June 8, 2016 at the age of 58. Wes was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 9, 1958 to William and Betty Croker. He was raised in Ross Township, a suburb of Pittsburgh, and graduated from North Hills High School. He graduated from Slippery Rock University where he majored in health and science and played baseball on the university’s team. Sports and fitness were very much a passion throughout his life and he passed that love to his daughters. He had an entrepreneur spirit and liked investing in real estate. He was branch manager of Security National Mortgage South Texas region. He was a sports enthusiast and remained a true member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. “Go Steelers”
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Betty Croker
He is survived by his three daughters, Ashley Croker, Alexis Croker and Sophia Clark, Ashley and Alexis’ mother Alana Croker, his sister Bonnie (Croker) Post and husband Robert, brother William Croker and wife Nancy. He was “Uncle Beat” to Amy (Post) Pleins, Alison (Post) Patterson, Drew Croker, Wes Croker, Robert Post Jr. and Leah (Croker) Monica. He was a great uncle to 16 children ages 15 years to 4 weeks and another great nephew on the way, and many, many friends.
Wes was a light in every room he entered and loved by all he met. He never knew a stranger and his humor could make anyone laugh. He was joyful, fun, and the life of the party. He had a huge and giving heart. He loved animals and his daughters will carry that love on. He was a wonderful father and loved his daughters very much.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. The service celebrating Wes' life will be held in the chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home, on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
