

James Richard Edwards, age 92, of Pasadena, TX, passed away October 22, 2021. He was surrounded by his family as he was called home to be with the Lord. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 28, 1929 to Mickey and Stella Edwards.
For 67 years, Jim was married to Jeanenne Edwards, and the two shared a beautiful life together. As a young man, Jim joined the army and served his country in the Korean war. This was followed by a successful career in grocery supply services and owning his own company called Longhorn Foods. As a Master Mason and Shriner, Jim had a strong moral compass leading him to be a strong father, businessman, and member of his community. He had a passion for fishing, boating, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Craven, and his step-father, George Craven.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanenne Edwards, his daughter Lisa Bengtson and her husband Frank, his daughter, Cindy Edwards, his granddaughter, Stefani Lovelace and her husband Rex, his granddaughter Sara Dailey and her husband Jeremy, and his grandchildren Alexis, Gavin, Jordyn, and Cade.
Jim served his country and his community, but his family always came first. He took great care of his loved ones until his very last day. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to Shriner Hospital for Children.
