James L. McKenna passed away on January 26, 2016. Jim was born on June 11, 1941 to Judge James L. McKenna and Rose Huguenin McKenna in Galveston, Texas. His wife of 39 years, Mary Lee Larson McKenna, preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Kyle McKenna; his daughter, Bridget McKenna Richards (David Richards); his sister, Marie M. Ferrier (Douglas Ferrier); his niece, Katie Ferrier Gage (Brian Gage); his nephew, Thomas Ferrier; and his great-niece, Dorothy Rose Gage. Jim had a career he always wanted and taught at San Jacinto Community College for over 45 years. Private services were scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to MD Anderson or the American Cancer Society.
