James Houston Trammell Jr.

James Houston Trammell Jr., 75, of Angleton, TX passed away on August 6, 2024. “Big Jimmy” was born in Waco, TX on May 23rd, 1949 to James Houston Trammell Sr. and Mary Francis. Shortly after graduating high school, he married the love of his life, Linda Diane Collins.

The majority of Big Jimmy’s career was spent as a machinist for Dow Chemical. He loved taking his family on long vacations. And anyone who knew him, knew that he was a Chevy man and loved driving his fast cars.

Big Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, James and Fran Trammell. Big Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of almost 55 years, Linda; his beautiful daughter Kimberly Michelle, his sweet son, Little Jimmy (wife Kelly), amazing grandchildren Ethan, Mason, Alexis, brother, Jeff, and sister, Jill.

A private family viewing for Big Jimmy will be held on Saturday, August 10th, at 9a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
