Jimmy Ison

James “Jimmy” Victor Ison, age 52, passed away on May 1, 2014 in Pasadena, TX. Jimmy was born in Pontiac, Michigan on August 20, 1961. He is the son of Barbara Dickerson and has four other siblings. His home was in Houston before moving to Round Rock, TX where he lived for ten years. While there Jimmy worked at Lowe’s for several years in Round Rock, TX before moving to Houston a year ago. He enjoyed making others feel loved and filling them with laughter with his quirky jokes. Jimmy loved to play guitar and also had some cool Tai Kwon Do moves that he often showed off for his family. He was a very kind and gentle friend to those who he met and was especially close to his friends that are residents of the apartment complex where he worked for the past year.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his step-father Wayne Dickerson.

Jimmy is survived by his Mother Barbara Dickerson; siblings and their spouses Kathy and David Finch of Baytown, TX, Patty and David Marini of Mesquite, TX, Sherry and Ray Dehkordi of Pasadena, TX, Gus and Christi Gonzales of Georgetown, TX and Billie Jo Ison and family. Nieces and Nephews Clinton Thamm and wife Melanie, John Michael Dunaway and wife Tyger, Veronica Garza and husband Victor, Stacey Fischer and husband Zachary, Kristina Leal, Felicia Finch, and Matthew Gonzales. Great Niece and Nephews, Rylan Dunaway , Jackson Dunaway, Ayden Garza, Aubrey Finch, Lorelie Thamm and Liberty Fischer.

Pallbearers are Gus Gonzales, Ray Dehkordi, David Marini, John-Michael Dunaway, Clinton Thamm, and Ricky Morris
