

Beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and friend, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014, after a battle with Pneumonia. He was born on October 28th, 1925 to Charles and Lillian (Gray) Crawford, in Mayfield Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Morgan) Crawford and his son, Larry Neal Crawford. John is survived by his son, Richard Lee Crawford, and daughter, Patricia Lovell, and their spouses, three grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
John is a 23 year veteran of the United States Air Force and served in WWII. He earned his Master’s Degree in Psychology then went on to earn his Doctorate in Education from the University of Houston.
During his 23 year military career he served in the Air Training Command where he was a course supervisor in electronics courses. He is published in The Journal of Psychology as well as Technical Horizons. He served as a professor at Lee College in Baytown, Texas.
John lived a life of adventure; traveling to many places during his tenure with the military. He had a zest for life that was contagious. He is one of the most grateful persons we have ever known, contributing his success to a higher power who directed his steps and helped him along the way. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
